MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE: Developer’s Blog Vol. 3 – Training Mode & Gallery

Hello, Heroes and Villains of My Hero Ultra Rumble!

This time we would like to talk about the Training Mode (which we’ll be referring to simply as Training) and the Gallery!

Many players out there are probably thinking, “I want to train against the CPU to test out this character’s skills” or “I want to become better at this game before going against other players!”

If this is your case, then you’ll be glad to know that we are currently working on a customizable Training Mode, which will be available when the game launches this fall!

Locked characters will be available in Training Mode, so players can try out different character playstyles. They can also choose the CPU characters they want to train with, and customize their actionsQuirk levels, and other parameters!

Some CPU actions that you can set are:

  • Move + Attack
  • Evade
  • Stop
  • Hand-to-hand combat only
  • or Quirk α only

Players will also be able to set each one of their own character’s details such as level of Quirk α/β/γ separately.

Besides playing against CPU characters, players will also be able to train together with their actual teammates.

By switching the “Attack allies” option ON, you can also fight against your own teammates, so you’ll be able to spar with your friends and practice combos together!

Please don’t forget to create and try out your own combos when the game releases!

Now I would like to introduce the Gallery feature!

You’ll be able to obtain Gallery Pieces through the game’s Missions and other modes. Use these pieces to assemble the panels and unlock famous scenessketches, and original illustrations from MY HERO ACADEMIA.

The original illustrations were made exclusively for this game, based on battle scenes from the manga.

The illustrations you unlock can also be used for the loading screens, so we encourage you to collect and enjoy all the illustrations!

These are all the updates we have for now. Next time, we’ll bring you more information about the operations for the upcoming seasons and other updates you won’t want to miss!

See you on the next blog!
